How we can help you:
At Winchester Youth Counselling (WYC), we’re here to support young people aged 11-25.
We offer free, one-to-one counselling and group therapeutic sessions to support your mental health. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, low mood, school challenges, or other difficulties, we may be able to help.
WYC is a safe and supportive space where you can be yourself and talk about whatever is on your mind. Don’t wait until things get too much; if you’re struggling, reach out to us today. You can either refer yourself or ask an adult to refer you.

What other young people say about us:

Here’s what some of our young people have to say about our services:

“I gained a better understanding of my feelings, which has helped me be kinder and more patient with myself.”

“Amazing how therapists tailor the number of sessions to you. The standard NHS six sessions have never been effective for me, so this gave me the chance to dive deeper into my thoughts and deal with them. Thank you.”

“I finally managed to face my fears and spend time on them, rather than pushing them away. I gained the cognitive ability to recognise and deal with negative thoughts.”

“It was my first time trying the walk and talk counselling, and I can honestly say it’s been the best therapy I’ve received in years. Being out in nature helped me start being more active and appreciate my surroundings a lot more.”
