RATE OF PAY:                             Sessional rate £27.00 per hour.

HOURS OF WORKING:              6 hours per week  

LOCATION:                                 Various locations around the district of Winchester

Are you a BACP accredited counsellor with a passion for supporting the mental health of young people?

Do you have experience in working with young individuals aged 11-25?

If you’re ready to take on a role that involves outdoor counselling sessions and you’re keen on making a substantial difference in the lives of young people within the Winchester district, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Winchester Youth Counselling is seeking a dedicated Walk and Talk counsellor to join our team on a sessional contract basis, providing individual walk and talk sessions in the picturesque rural areas of Winchester.

This position not only offers the chance to work in a unique setting but also comes with the support of weekly clinical supervision, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to liaise with a range of professionals to enhance the wellbeing of our clients.

We need you to join our charity Board.

We’re looking for new trustees to help us on the next stage of our exciting journey.

 At Winchester Youth Counselling, we’re about supporting positive mental health and wellbeing for local children and young people aged 11-25 living in the Winchester district.

We provide a range of therapeutic services to children and young people who are facing mental health challenges.  We offer support to parents and carers too.

Our counselling services work to improve the long-term wellbeing of the children and young people, enabling them to overcome trauma, develop coping strategies for difficult feelings, build resilience and live happier lives.

We are looking for trustees from a diverse range of backgrounds with skills and abilities to join our charity Board. Your role will be to contribute to the strategic direction of the charity and support our CEO as we look forward to a future where we can help more young people with their mental health.
