Seventeen Runners Set to Take on the Winchester Half Marathon in Support of WYC

We are delighted to announce that 17 fantastic runners have confirmed their places in this year’s Winchester Half Marathon, all running in aid of Winchester Youth Counselling.
This is wonderful news for our charity, and we are incredibly grateful to each runner who has chosen to support young people’s mental health across Winchester and the surrounding areas. The Winchester Half Marathon is one of the city’s most popular sporting events, taking place on Sunday 21st September, and we’re so proud to have such a strong team representing WYC on the day.
Our runners will be taking on the challenge not only for the personal achievement, but also to help raise vital funds that allow WYC to continue offering free counselling and mental health support to local young people aged 11–25 in the Winchester District.
Our Runners
We’d love you to get to know the incredible individuals running for WYC and have shared their individual JustGiving pages on our dedicated JustGiving Winchester Half Marathon page.
If you’d prefer, you can also make a donation to Winchester Youth Counselling via our main JustGiving page. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue providing free counselling and wellbeing support to young people in Winchester and the surrounding areas.
Want to Run for WYC?
Although our free charity places have now been filled, we’d still love to welcome more runners to Team WYC
If you already have a place and are looking for a local charity to support, we’d be thrilled if you ran on our behalf.
Please email fundraising@winchyc.org if either of these apply to you.
Thank you to our amazing 17 runners – we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
