Are you feeling overwhelmed by your child’s mental health needs?

If your child is refusing to go to school, has experienced trauma or loss, or seems depressed or withdrawn, it can be difficult to know how best to help them as a parent.
But you’re not alone – we’re here to support both you and your child.
We understand how much you love your children, and how hard it can be when they’re struggling with their mental health.

That’s why, at Winchester Youth Counselling (WYC), we offer parent support groups. These groups provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore a range of topics, such as gender and sexuality, school transitions, and managing anxiety. You’ll also have the chance to share your experiences with other parents and learn practical strategies to support your child as they work through their feelings.
