Charity Fun Run: Join the New Energy Fitness Team in Support of Local Young People

Calling all runners, walkers, joggers, and fancy-dress enthusiasts. Whether you are fun-loving, competitive, a seasoned runner, or simply fancy giving something new a go, this event is for you.

On Sunday 25th January 2026, the NEF team invites the Winchester community to lace up their trainers, dig out their brightest neon outfits, and join Zoe, Clare, and the wider team for a 5km run through Winchester.

Fancy dress is actively encouraged, with neon colours, creativity, and imagination very much the order of the day. The more eye-catching, the better. Whether you are running, jogging, or walking the route, you will be supported every step of the way.

The event begins at 2pm and will finish at approximately 3:30pm, giving everyone time to enjoy the route, cross the finish line, and celebrate together. Every participant will be rewarded with finish-line treats and one of NEF’s very own delightfully “delicious” medals, as a thank you for taking part.

A £10 charity donation secures your place on the run, with all proceeds going to Winchester Youth Counselling. These donations help us continue providing free, confidential counselling and mental health support to young people aged 11–25 across the Winchester district. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us support local young people through challenging times and promotes positive mental wellbeing within our community.
